We are pleased to present our Jane Austen Series. Jane lived in England and was a woman of grace, style and femininity. From a prominent family in those days, she was well mannered and was a  woman of values having been raised by a father who was a preacher. Many women are collectors of her writings, full of wit and wisdom as she wrote about the Dashwood sisters, Elinor and  Marianne.. who balanced their prudence with their passions, going through many struggles not too different than those of today but with a wit and wisdom of  Victorian ladies. Those who are Jane Austen enthusiats are called Jane-ites or Janeites in today's world, trying to find out as much as they can about Jane and her writings as well as her background in England. They were spirited ladies who evoke the femine spirit of  modern day adaptations such as the film Sense and Sensibility.
